12 same-sex marriages that just made history

The U.S. Supreme Court's landmark decision making same-sex marriage legal in all 50 states was cause for celebration all over the country. But there were also a few people who had just a little bit more to be thankful for on Friday.

Some same-sex couples in the 12 states that still banned gay marriage (Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Tennessee and Texas) wasted no time in taking advantage of the ruling. Here are some of the first same-sex marriages in those states, just hours after the court's decision.
