If you've ever wanted to relive your favorite gaming moments -- a particularly satisfying lap around the racetrack, the last few seconds of a puzzle game -- Samsung now has you covered.

The South Korean smartphone giant released Game Recorder +, which does exactly what you think it does, provided you have a Galaxy smartphone or tablet running Android Jellybean or later.

The app captures gameplay video in full HD and audio, even what players tap onscreen and when. But it also lets users record commentary for these captured moments using their smartphone's front-facing camera and microphone. Afterwards, gamers can edit the video clip and upload it to YouTube if they want to share it with the world.

Samsung no longer breaks down its smartphone sales, but the company's Galaxy phones and tablets -- its flagship line -- are huge. Third-party research firm Counterpoint, for example, estimated earlier this month that Samsung sold 6 million units of its Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge in April alone.
