Are you a puppeteer who likes rocking out to '80s music? Then Samsung's new smartphone and smart watch may be perfect for you.
Samsung first ad for the new Galaxy Note 3 smartphone and Galaxy Gear smartwatch starts out normally enough, with a young woman taking notes on the Note with a stylus, receiving an incoming message notification on the Gear and recording video on the watch, all while on the go. Then the puppets come out, accompanied by a remixed version of the Eurythmics' classic hit "Sweet Dreams."
The video spot is a departure for Samsung, which frequently features celebrities in ads and occasionally mocks competitors like Apple. It's also arguably one of Samsung's most peculiar commercials in recent memory.
