Samsung Galaxy S4 Update Provides More Space for Apps

One of the burning issues with Samsung's flagship Android smartphone, the Galaxy S4, was limited space for apps in the 16GB version of the device -- 9.15GB.

A software update for the Galaxy S4 rectifies this, increasing the available storage to 9.23GB, and giving users the ability to move the apps to the SD memory card.

Other improvements in the update include a new camera firmware, a semi-transparent status bard, HDR video recording, increased legibility, several bug fixes and more. For a full list of the updates, check out SamMobile.

The 357MB update is currently only available for the Snapdragon-powered variant of the Galaxy S4, and only in Germany, according to SamMobile. It will likely become available in other markets soon.
