This Could Be Samsung Galaxy S5's Home Screen

Twitter account @evleaks, known for a solid track record of smartphone leaks, has posted an image of what appears to be Samsung Galaxy S5's home screen. The S5 is reportedly arriving in the first half of this year.

The home screen, according to the photo (below), is a column of cards, displaying information about your online orders, sports, upcoming flights, social contacts, upcoming concerts and appointments.

To an extent, the new home screen resembles that of Microsoft's Windows Phone 8, as well as cards for Google Now, which isn't a bad idea for a home and/or lock screen.

The image follows another leak from @evleaks, posted Jan. 7, showing a home screen featuring similar "cards" but combined with a more standard home screen look with rows of application icons.

Of course, even if these images are real, it doesn't mean they're the final versions of the Galaxy S5's home or lock screen. Samsung could simply be experimenting with different approaches.
