At least 14 people were killed and another 17 were injured in a mass shooting at a center for people with developmental disabilities in San Bernardino, California Wednesday morning.

An hours-long manhunt followed the shooting, which involved as many as three suspects who had "long guns" and opened fire in a conference room during a holiday party at the Inland Regional Center around 11 a.m. Suspects fled in a black SUV and later in the day, a black SUV was involved in a shootout with police about two miles from the regional center. One suspect was hit, police said.

"We do not know what the motive is for the shooting at this time," San Bernardino Police Chief Jarrod Burguan said. "At minimum, we have a domestic terrorism situation."
