LONDON -- Fear struck in the hearts of Britons Monday morning with the Daily Mail's front page exclusive that there is no one left in the country who can make a sandwich.
The paper reports that a firm supplying sandwiches to supermarkets can't recruit 300 staff for its new factory in Northampton, saying the majority of the new staff will be recruited in Hungary -- proclaiming on its front page: "Is there no one left in Britain who can make a sandwich?"
