Apparently a crying toddler is no longer just a nuisance — it's grounds for being ejected from a flight.

Sarah Blackwood, the 7-months-pregnant singer/songwriter for the Canadian band Walk Off the Earth, was apparently kicked off of a United Airlines flight on Wednesday when her 2-year-old son wouldn't stop crying.

Blackwood tweeted that she was taken off the flight because her son was crying too loudly ...

Just got kicked off a @united flight because my son was crying really loud. Stayed calm but overall #Discrimination #motherhaters @united— Sarah Blackwood (@SarahBlackwood1) May 27, 2015

... and presented a security "threat."

Apparently my little 2 yr old crying son was a big threat to @united UA6223.MY 2 YR OLD!A threat?!?! Kicked us off the plane @discrimination— Sarah Blackwood (@SarahBlackwood1) May 27, 2015

SkyWest Airlines, who was operating the United flight, said in a statement that Blackwood was removed because her son "could not be secured for takeoff."

Other passengers on the flight went on Facebook to support Blackwood, saying that United was in the wrong for taking such drastic actions, and filling in the details of the story. The passengers described how the plane was delayed for more than an hour while the crew made Blackwood gather her things and escorted her and her son from the plane.

Blackwood says that there was one helpful United employee who was sympathetic to her plight, and filmed her interaction with the woman. The employee was flabbergasted by such an occurrence and instructed Blackwood on what she should do in order to get on another flight. Blackwood posted the video to Twitter and Facebook:

United may have succeeded in kicking Blackwood off the plane, but the mother isn't going to take the insult lying down. She has already received supportive comments on social media, and people are continuing to post on United's Facebook page on her behalf — and deliver some wicked burns.
