An Australian TV host has taken down fat shamers in one fell swoop live on air.

Studio 10 personality Sarah Harris, who is due to give birth to a boy in December, addressed photos that had been published online of her wearing casual clothes, no make up and showing off her glorious baby bump as she left a restaurant. She claimed the photos and comments below were fat shaming her growing body and labelled it "just disgusting."

Harris said after she finishes her job on the morning show, she takes off the pretty dresses and her makeup, lets down her hair and whips off her Spanx. "This is what I really look life off duty," Harris joked, before turning serious.

"They were having a go at how huge I am, how fat I am, how ugly I am," Harris said, referring to online comments on the pictures. "And when you are pregnant you do feel quite vulnerable and insecure about your body. I did feel pretty bad... but then I thought, 'Bugger it, I am growing a baby.' This is me."

Owning the segment like a legend, Harris said she hopes the photos make other mums-to-be feel better about their bodies.

"I am kinda fed up with the body shaming that happens when you are pregnant," she said. "On behalf of all the pregnant women out there, who may be feeling a little bit chubby and a little bit flabby, I want to say to the haters: get stuffed."

"And by the way ... I was leaving a Mexican restaurant where I had an awesome chicken burrito." Because she can. Dominate.

Love youse more than I love chicken burritos*. Thanks for all your support today legends! *how is there no burrito emoji?!?— Sarah Harris (@SarahHarris) October 1, 2015
