Looking for reservations using the app is pretty straightforward. To find a place to dine, select your preferred city and neighborhood. Then choose how many people will be in your party and what type of food you want. Not sure what neighborhood you're in? The app has a Nearby Restaurants button that looks for places near your currently location.

A search will return a variety of different dining options, as well as discounts at many restaurants based on when you decide to visit.

Savored currently works with around 1,000 restaurants in 10 cities including New York, Chicago, San Francisco. About 400 of those restaurants are in New York City.

Savored is different than some of its competition in part because of how it searches for restaurants. The only way to look for places to dine is by location, with no option to search for type of cuisine or price (although that information is available for each restaurant in the search results).

The team at Savored says they wanted to make the app as easy and straightforward as possible to navigate, and developers found that the vast majority of users search by neighborhood over anything else.

In addition to looking at a list of restaurant results for an area, you can also look at those results plotted out on a map to pick the optimal spot.
