LONDON -- A man who has been described as a "hate preacher" had his public lecture brought to a halt in Scotland by a man playing the bagpipes.

The "preacher" was delivering an anti-gay message, claiming that same-sex marriage is ruining the country, the Daily Record reported -- however he was soon drowned out with a rendition of the traditional song "Scotland the Brave."

Onlookers who cheered the musician's actions filmed the footage from above, before a police van arrived on the scene. No arrests were made.
