Scott Weiland, frontman of Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver has died. He was 48 years old. Stone Temple Pilots were a major MTV staple. Weiland’s other musical ventures include supergroup Velvet Revolver along with multiple solo and side projects. He is survived by two teen children, Noah and Lucy, and wife, Jamie Wachtel, whom he married in 2013.
