Scrapblog, the service for creating an online multimedia scrapbook, has raised additional funding from Steamboat Ventures, a firm associated with The Walt Disney Company. David Min of Steamboat Ventures will be joining Scrapblog’s board of directors. Min said, “[Scrapblog] has strong appeal to consumers and the potential to provide real value to brands' online initiatives.”

Might those online initiatives include partnerships with other Disney properties? Seems likely, as Scrapblog’s glittery tools for creating scrap books seem like a logical fit for Disney’s tween audience. Scrapblog recently announced a partnership with The March of Dimes to let users create scrap books showcasing their favorite baby stories. The company has also setup a way for fans of the ABC show Ugly Betty to create scrapblogs on ABC.com (a Disney subsidiary).

Terms of the round were not disclosed. The company raised $2.5 million from Longworth Venture Partners earlier this year.
