Professional diver Rick Coleman returned to his boat post-night dive to discover an adorable and unexpected stow away.
A sea lion had flopped its way aboard his kayak and made itself completely at home. Coleman, who was at first a little startled by the new passenger, tried to shoo the pup away. But the sea lion was clearly trying to recreate Life of Pi and wasn't willing to move.
The diver eventually paddled his way back to shore, with the sea lion co-piloting the whole way. Coleman captured the entire adventure on his GoPro camera and, thankfully, made sure to alert animal rescue to help out his new travel companion.
