A group of Seattle fans gathering to watch the Super Bowl set up a camera near their TV to record their reactions during the game. The gadget captured their anticipation as the Seahawks reached New England's one-yard line with less than 30 seconds to play.

Skip ahead to the 8:10 mark of the video above. You'll see the group of fans chanting "Beast! Mode! Beast! Mode!" in anticipation of the Seahawks handing it off to star running back Marshawn Lynch for the game-winning score.

Their next collective reaction -- after Seattle, of course, opted to pass, resulting in a game-ending interception -- personifies disbelieving heartbreak.

"Why don't you fuckin' run the ball, dude?" one fan asks in disgust after the decisive play.

We don't know either, buddy.

Lynch for his part, spent the evening after the rough loss hanging with Snoop Dogg -- which we feel safe assuming was a better pick-me-up than anything these fans had to turn to.

Finally, as if Seahawks supporters needed a reminder, it appears a local Papa John's accidentally ran an ad congratulating Seattle on back-to-back Super Bowl titles:

Ouch. Talk about pouring salt in the wound.
