SeamlessWeb users were unable to log onto the website or mobile app for more than an hour midday Tuesday as the service experienced technical difficulties. This left many hungry office workers scrambling to figure out how to get lunch without the online delivery service.

Naturally, many Seamless users took to Twitter to voice their concerns and frustrations:

@samfbiddle @seamless i don't even know what to do right now. Do i hunt

— Jason Schreier (@jasonschreier) November 20, 2012

Ugh, @seamless is not working right now which means I actually have to go outside and get food. #FirstWorldProblems — Stacey Cooper (@scoopsontherun) November 20, 2012

.@seamless website is down. I had to order my lunch on the phone like some kind of Neanderthal animal. — Paul Greenberg (@paulgreenberg) November 20, 2012

"Processing your order, please wait..." BULLSHIT I WANT MY BURGER #Seamless

We will tell our children lunchtime famine stories about The Great Seamless Outage of 2012.

To its credit, Seamless was quick to respond to users who complained on Twitter, assuring them that the company was working to fix the technical issues as soon as possible.

@seamless Appreciate the prompt response. Serious question though: do I wait for you guys or go out (aka will you be back in next 15 min)? — Joel Milton (@joel_milton) November 20, 2012

@tokulski We wouldn't recommend cannibalism. We're so sorry for the issues on the site right now + are working hard to fix ASAP! — Seamless (@Seamless) November 20, 2012

The service appeared to be working again as of 1:30 EST.
