LONDON -- Grab your lightsabers, an immersive screening of the second Star Wars film The Empire Strikes Back is coming to London this summer.

Secret Cinema, who last year recreated Back To The Future's Hilly Valley in the capital, is hosting the event.

For a whopping £75 for adults and £50 for children, you'll be able to explore a recreation of the film's scenes among dozens of actors at an unannounced location for a month from June 4.

Organisers are promising “the most ambitious and dreamlike Secret Cinema experience the UK has ever seen” which will include “a richly detailed galactic space opera.”

Tickets go on sale from Wednesday March 18 at 1pm, and demand is expected to be sky high.

Secret Cinema started out as a small organisation of film buffs that screened cult and classic movies, from Blade Runner to The Shining, Wings of Desire and The Red Shoes to in-the-know crowds. Their choices were never broadcast ahead of the event - participants just had to show up to a secret location with no knowledge of what they'd be seeing.

It's since grown into a much larger operation, with last year's Back To The Future show an immense undertaking that's now heading to Los Angeles. Technical problems at the London event, which cost £53.50 per ticket, meant the opening was postponed by a week.

Other immersive screenings have included The Grand Budapest Hotel and Ghostbusters.

The company also held a secret screening in protest at the Sony hack and aired Dead Poets Society in honour of Robin Williams after his death.
