LOS ANGELES -- If you could reboot yourself in a new, younger, better-looking body that was not your own, would you do it?

If you're young and healthy, perhaps not. But if you were Ben Kingsley's age -- the actor is 71 -- and dying from cancer, it's not a very hard choice to make.

The psychological sci-fi thriller Self/Less from Tarsem Singh (The Cell, Immortals) puts that choice in front of an extremely wealthy man (Kingsley) who undergoes a radical medical procedure to transfer his consciousness into the body of a healthy young man (Ryan Reynolds). Who wouldn't want to look and feel like Ryan Reynolds, right?

But this is Hollywood, where there's always a price to be paid for a radical physical improvements. Soon, Kingsley begins to uncover the mystery of the body's origin and the organization that will kill to protect that secret.

In this clip, shared exclusively with Mashable, Kingsley meets one of these empty vessels for the first time. Self/Less, written by Alex and David Pastor, comes out in theaters July 10.
