LONDON -- It's been a bit of an annus horribilis for Sepp Blatter, and it's not looking like it will get any less horribilis.

If the embattled FIFA president has not been facing showers of cash from pranksters at press conferences, he's been staring down the barrel of criminal investigations from Swiss authorities.

Now he's facing another indignity, as the main guy at the Edenbridge Bonfire Society's annual bash on Nov. 7.

Joining the ranks of previous people with that dubious honour, including TV rent-a-gob Katie Hopkins and cycling drug cheat Lance Armstrong, he's set to be burnt at the stake in effigy form for this year's Bonfire Night celebrations.

Blatter was chosen by 36.8% of respondents, according to the society's Facebook page, receiving more than three times the votes than David Cameron in second place.

Here he is, getting ready for the big day.
