A Brooklyn-based artist is literally taking on the phrase “from trash to treasure.”

#Setinthestreet is an ongoing art project by photographer Justin Bettman. Bettman collects unwanted furniture and create elaborate home sets with Wes Anderson–inspired aesthetic on random streets in New York.

After shooting the photos, the sets remain standing on the street to encourage passerby to take their own photos. So keep your eyes open next time you are taking a stroll down the streets of NYC.
