Setdot, the event-planning service, has officially launched, and has added some new features since we last checked them out.
Among the new stuff you can do at Setdot are new themes, directions, venue reviews, and calendar integration. The themes are plentiful, and offer a wide range of event-planning detail, from poker night to a Halloween party. This is something event-planning sites are recently keen on, encouraging you to use their service for casual to big events. Driving directions is a helpful and practical addition to Setdot's features, as are the venue reviews, which are imported from Yelp. Incorporating guest review capabilities into this feature could be useful as well, especially as other guests may take a trusting word from fellow invitees.
Google, Yahoo and Outlook calendar integration has been added to Setdot's new feature list, which is smart, and message moderation makes for better management tools for the event planner, making a more appealing experience for all that are invited and plan on attending. Something we suggested during our initial review of Setdot, widgets, have also been added to Setdot options for promotional purposes, and visitor tracking lets you know who's checked out your invitations as well as how many times your invitations have been viewed.
