Sevenload, a video and photo sharing platform based in Germany (although available in English), will announce tomorrow that Martin Varsavsky, founder of Fon, Viatel and Ya.com, has invested in the company and joined the advisory board.

Varsavsky is also a shareholder in Xing, Joost, Zudeo, Netvibes, Vpod, Gspace and Technorati.

Sevenload reports 4 million unique visits in March, 87,000 registered users and 950,000 photo and video uploads. At the end of March, they announced "one of the largest Web 2.0 investments in Germany to date", thought to be around 7 to 9 million Euros. Look out for international expansion soon.
