The Social Gaming Network's latest release was the SGN Game Bar for Facebook platform developers to cross-market their SGN games, and now SGN is taking another cue from Facebook and adding in its own updating feed system. Called the Game Feed, game players will be kept up to date with the ongoing activity of other users. See their scores, rankings, and what games they're playing.

This feature doesn't look to be directly tied into the SGN games that are played on Facebook's platform, but players will find it in the Gaming Hub, and developers can in fact include it in their own games as a customizable widget. Should this be layered heavily into Facebook's SGN platform games, or SGN's larger platform, then there is the possibility of SGN and its developers having a bit more autonomy than they may get when working within the tightening parameters of Facebook's newsfeed system.
Social.im recently revealed a way in which users and app developers could circumvent the Facebook newsfeed system, and depending on the level of customization and integration that SGN will eventually provide for its users, this Game Feed could become a centralized marketing channel for SGN and its developers.
