The first trailer for NBC's Shades of Blue makes one point clear very early on: Jennifer Lopez is not exactly what you'd call a perfect cop.
In fact, she's pretty damn shady.
Her crime-scene fixing, bribe-taking ways, however, lead to a world of trouble. Especially when it comes to her character's relationship with Dec. Harlee Santos (Ray Liotta).
More from the new drama can be seen above in the first promo, which Lopez posted to her Facebook page Sunday.
The 13-episode series is Lopez's first starring role on a television show since the 90s, when she appeared in a short-lived CBS crime procedural called Hotel Malibu. The years that followed saw the multi-hyphenate guest appear on shows like Will & Grace and How I Met Your Mother.
Shades of Blue premieres Jan. 14 on NBC.
