It all began last week, when Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan tweeted a photograph with actor Salman Khan on his birthday, leading to speculations that their infamous rivalry had now been replaced with friendship. Yesterday, India's biggest Bollywood stars took their bonhomie a step further by swapping characters to dance to each other's songs. In separate Dubsmash videos, Salman and Shah Rukh promoted each other's forthcoming films, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and Dilwale.

In two videos, Salman and his PRDP co-actors Sonam Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh and others enacted the song Tujhe Dekha To Yeh Jana Sanam from the iconic film Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. In return, Shah Rukh, Kajol and their Dilwale co-stars danced to the title song from PRDP.

Salman even tweeted about their character swap -- Shah Rukh and Salman have played characters named Raj and Prem respectively in over 15 films.

While PRDP is slated for a Diwali release on 12 Nov., Dilwale will be released a week before Christmas, on Dec. 18.
