Shaolin monk Shi Liliang knows that persistence is key when attempting a difficult task. Especially if that difficult task happens to be running on water.

Shi has been training to run on water for ten years, using nothing but thin, floating boards for support.

On Thursday, he accomplished his record of running 125 meters across water, in his town of Quanzhou. Shi has attempted and failed the same stunt five times before, which just goes to show the benefits of endurance and hard work.
