Who Wins? Iron Man or Shaq's Steel?

AUSTIN -- In the 1997 superhero action movie Steel, Shaquille O'Neal played the armor-clad title character who along with his arsenal of weapons tries to obliterate criminals. But what if instead of fighting bad guys, Steel had to battle the modern-day Iron Man? Mashable asked Shaq to theoretically pit the heroes against each other in a fictitious epic showdown.

"Iron Man has me because he has better technology," Shaq said at South by Southwest.

"But if I would have had the same technology as Iron Man, I'd kick his ass."

Shaq, who played 19 NBA seasons and has a master’s degree in business administration, was at SXSW looking for the next hot startup.

To do so, he launched "Pitch Shaq," a competition where startups submitted 15-second elevator-pitch videos on Tout -- the same social video-sharing service he used in 2011 to announce his retirement from basketball.

Shaq picked two app winners: Speakerfy, which lets users play music in sync on several devices, and Beam, which allows stuff to easily transfer to and from mobile to desktop.
