Would Shawn White and Shaq be friends? Would Christina Aguilera fight with Disney star Debby Ryan?

Nintendo has partnered with celebrities to bring their likenesses into the simulation game Tomodachi Life for the 3DS handheld. In Tomodachi Life, players are encouraged to create likenesses of their friends, family and favorite stars to fill up an island of digital residents.

Fans can download the likenesses of pop star Christina Aguilera, basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal, skateboarder Shawn White, and Disney stars Zendaya and Debby Ryan, the former of whom just confirmed her role in the upcoming Aaliyah biopic.

The QR codes for each are available on the Tomodachi Life website, and can be scanned via the game's Town Hall.

Tomodachi Life -- a game that could be called a hybrid of the Animal Crossing and Sims franchises -- gives each player an island they populate with Mii characters they create in whatever likeness they'd like. Instead of having control over the Miis, each moves through daily life on its own, asking the player for help when it's hungry, needs new clothes or wants to make new friends/romantic connections. The game is based on a popular Tomodachi franchise that only existed in Japan prior to this release.

Tomodachi Life came out June 6 for the 3DS.
