Share Stuff on Facebook With a More Social Twist

Share Stuff on Facebook With a More Social Twist

Sharein, a service we reviewed last month, offers a bookmarklet that lets users share content on social networks. While there are plenty of products that do similar, Sharein has just added a few cool new features that give it some differentiation in the realm of Facebook sharing, at least for the time being.

The big addition that your friends will see when you share stuff on Facebook via the bookmarklet is metadata that Sharein believes will help them better decide if something’s worth clicking on. This includes number of Diggs, number of tweets (via Tweetmeme), and if it’s a YouTube video, ratings and total views.

As we mentioned in our previous coverage, Sharein also has a fairly sophisticated interface for tracking stats on your shares. Now, additional Facebook data is integrated, so you’ll see how many likes and comments your shares are receiving, in addition to reach, clicks, and re-shares.
