Ah, the beauty of the food chain.

Beachgoers at Cape Lookout National Seashore captured sharks getting their grub on earlier this month in a massive feeding frenzy near the Crystal Coast of North Carolina. Hundreds of sharks followed a school of bluefish right onto the beach on Oct. 8, while seagulls and pelicans dove in for the leftovers.

The witnesses were leaders of One Harbor Church, according to the YouTube description provided by Brian Recker, and were out fishing when stumbling across the sharks' buffet.

And while the video is truly terrifying, Recker would like to remind folks that, "The surrounding beaches of Eastern North Carolina are extremely safe for swimming."

"The presence of these sharks and large schools of fish is actually a sign of a very healthy ecosystem," he writes.

Healthy -- sure, as long as it's not mealtime.
