A joyriding sheepdog looking to spice up his morning routine crashed his owner's tractor on a busy roadway Wednesday in Abington, Scotland.

STV News reports that farmer Tom Hamilton was tending to lambs in a field, when his collie Don leaned on the controls in the farmer's tractor. Don then veered off of a field, drove over the busy road and crashed into a central divider. Fortunately, no one, including the dog, was hurt.

"I was out in the mini tractor and had stepped out of it to get a lamb which looked like it was about to get out of the gate," Hamilton tells STV News. "I had not put the brake on the tractor and when I turned round I got a fright as the vehicle was careering down the hill, through a gate and onto the M74."

Despite Don's bout of vehicular excitement, there were no serious delays reported. Still, Scottish traffic reporters had a bit of fun with the news.
