Watch Live: Sheryl Sandberg Kicks Off Celebration of Women in Computing

The Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing kicks off Wednesday morning in Minneapolis, Minn.

The sold-out conference features talks by a number of amazing men and women in the field of computing. Wednesday’s keynote features none other than Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg in conversation with Maria Klawe, computer scientist and president of Harvey Mudd College, and Telle Whitney, CEO and president of the Anita Borg Institute.

The important and influential women will discuss women in leadership and in computing and offer viewers their own advice on “leaning in" -- a reference to Sandberg's book and organization of the same name -- and developing their own visions for the future.

If you don’t already have a ticket to the event, you can watch the hour-long discussion live right here at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT.

What advice would you offer others in your field? Leave your advice in the comments.
