From the same people who run Solomodels, Shockfolio is a home for artists, photographers, and musicians to build a dynamic and engaging online portfolio for their work.
Solomodels has focused on letting models show off their portfolios and socially network with each other using a very dynamic interface. Shockfolio is running on the same platform and you can tell that perhaps the site is having a bit of an identity crisis. It seems odd that when you click on "Artists" from the search area that it will allow me to narrow my query down by their eye-color, physique, and shoe size. This is obviously an artifact of the original site, and will hopefully be cleaned out after the beta stage. For now, it makes one wonder how quickly this was rushed to production.
There is no denying it is an alluring site visually, but navigation is a bit tricky, and the searching difficult to maneuver. All of that, however, is what a true beta stage is for.
