Following partnerships with Macy's, Target and American Eagle, Shopkick announced yet another big retail partner for its loyalty rewards program Tuesday: CVS/pharmacy.
The pharmacy chain is pilot testing Shopkick in 150 of its San Francisco Bay Area locations. Using Shopkick's app for iPhone or Android devices, shoppers can collect points, or “kicks,” by visiting and performing certain tasks with partner brands in store. They can then exchange their kicks for CVS-specific rewards, like gift cards, as well as for more general rewards, including song downloads, restaurant certificates, movie tickets, Facebook Credits, charity donations, etc.
To jump-start the program, CVS is offering users $5 in spending credit just for for walking into a store.
