Quick Pitch: Social shopping for local shoppers. Post pics of interesting products, find out what's available around you now and earn gift cards to the best local stores.

Genius Idea: Shopseen turns the shopping process into something that's not only personal but social in nature, with the end result being a great way for shopaholics and window shoppers to share, like, and comment on each others experiences.

With Shopseen you can either sign in via Facebook Connect (sign in with Twitter is coming soon) or create a new account. Then you can use the site to share products and accompanying personal photos from your shopping outings. Other users can then like or comment on your seen product, or add photos of their own.

Since the store name is required for each post and links to store pages, retailers also have a great opportunity to claim their stores and set up shop on Shopseen. Retailers can use the site to create their owns events, add products, and engage with their shoppers and product sharers.

Essentially, Shopseen is a lifestream for your wardrobe, favorite accessories, and bargain steals. Sure, you could accomplish similar tasks elsewhere — photoblogging, likes, and comments are nothing new — but Shopseen adds an extra layer of context that just might make lifestreaming a mainstream-friendly concept for fashionistas. When Shopseen adds mobile applications into the mix, they're likely to see a boost in users and more location-based content.
