Does Zuckerberg need another mentor? Rumor has it, according to Kara Swisher, that Marc Andreessen has verbally agreed to become the fourth member of Facebook's board. When it comes to Facebook's founder Mark Zuckerberg, one thing is clear: there is a quickly growing team of veteran executives, from Google and other established backbone companies in the technology space, that are joining Facebook's team.
This is a typical move for newer startups, especially as they become more established, and get massive valuations. Bringing on mature and experienced executives and board members is a signal to the world that this company is not only accepted by those that know best, but is being nurtured into greatness.
