Google has announced a new Google+ feature that allows you to add text to any photo you upload, which will then automatically be applied in the "I Can Haz Cheezburger" aesthetic.
We want to see what you come up with. Upload a picture to Google+ and click the "Add Text" button underneath the photo. Once your photo with text has been generated, drag it to our Olapic widget at the bottom of this post. Or, you can Tweet us @mashsocialmedia with the hashtag #googlememe.
We'll share the best ones in a gallery on our Google+ page and on Mashable.
Not unlike QuickMeme or Meme Generator, this feature will encourage users to be whimsical and witty, though of course in the framework of Google's existing social platform. It's not that surprising, given that Google has been known to put fun, hidden gems into its products such as "Let it Snow" or "Do a Barrel Roll."
