Move Networks, a startup specializing in streaming video, has announced today at MIX08, a three-day conference being held at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, that it is entering a “strategic partnership with Microsoft” to deploy its technology directly through the multi-platform (OS and browser) Silverlight plug-in. Currently, Move delivers content gathered from premium producers - ABC, CW, Discovery Communications, ESPN, Fox, Warner Bros. - to viewers via its own proprietary media player.
