Workaholics star Blake Anderson was always a fan of the The Simpsons Halloween episodes as a kid -- particularly Treehouse of Horror VI the one where Homer crosses into the real world.

And on Sunday Anderson is going to officially become part of the show's Halloween history, by appearing in the first non-Treehouse of Horror Halloween episode.

In the episode, an exclusive clip from which you can watch above, Anderson and fellow guest star Nick Kroll play Halloween pop-up shop employees who find themselves feuding with Homer Simpsons.

"Well, you know, we kind of feel a little disrespected by Homer and we show up at his doorstep basically looking for revenge," Anderson explains. "So it turns into a full onPanic Room situation, where he's kind of stuck in the attic and looking for him. We're out for blood for sure."

In the vein of the Treehouse episodes, Anderson says this one is not necessarily "piss your pants" scary, but, he assures, "me and Nick Kroll definitely brought our creepy to the table for sure."

This was Anderson and Kroll's first time voicing characters for the Simpsons, a longtime dream come true for the actors. The accomplishment comes with at least one concern for Anderson, however.

"I hope all the Simpsons purists and nerd-dorks appreciate what I've done. I know they're a tough crowd to please, but I really tried my best. I put a lot of love into it.," he says. "I hope you accept me into the Simpsons family and I hope I didn't disappoint anybody and if I did, I'll buy you a beer next time you see me."

Make that a Duff?

"Absolutely," he says. "Universal Studios. Meet me there by the Duff tap."
