The Simpsons are taking over FXX.

And while it may seem appealing to stay up for 12 days (Aug. 21 to Sept. 1) to catch all 25 seasons, it's impossible. Also, more dangerous than an all-syrup Squishy.

So we've put together a guide to help you catch some of the best episodes.

Below is a list of the highest-rated Simpsons episodes of all time, according to IMDB rankings, and when you can catch them during the marathon. (Schedule via Uproxx.)

Naturally, there are some shocking omissions. "I Married Marge," for example, one of the best Simpsons flashback episodes of all time, has a sad cumulative ranking of 7.5 out of 10. Thus, it's not on this list. And "Two Dozen and One Greyhounds," featuring the classic Simpsons tune "See My Vest"? Also 7.5.

Also, not a single Treehouse of Horror. Not a single Krusty-centric episode. Not even the Monorail episode made the cut.

But you have only yourselves to blame, people who rank things on IMDB. Only yourselves.

The binge of a lifetime kicks off at 10 a.m. ET.
