LONDON -- Sinéad O'Connor has form when it comes to speaking her mind about pop-culture's obsession du jour, so it's probably no surprise that Kim Kardashian popped up in the singer's crosshairs.

The Irish singer proclaimed in a Facebook post that Rolling Stone's decision to put the reality star and businesswoman on its front cover means "music has officially died."

Kardashian is featured in the July edition of the magazine in a nautical outfit with the headline "Kim! Inside her real world," but O'Connor was unimpressed by the move, calling on people to boycott the publication and going so far as to describe the Californian as a "c**t."

A lot of the commenters under O'Connor's Facebook post agreed with the singer.

However others thought the language she used was just straight-up offensive.

O'Connor is no stranger to speaking her mind.

In 2013, she penned an open letter to Miley Cyrus where she warned the then 20-year-old that she was being "prostituted" by the music industry. Cyrus didn't react well, starting an online spat by sending a stinging tweet, which made reference to O'Connor's mental health.
