For the next two weeks, visitors to the National Museum of Singapore at night may be able to catch little cartoon eskimos running about over its facade.

The projection mapping project comes from French creators David Passegand and Moetu Batlle, and their "Anooki" characters can be seen running about and giggling all over the historic landmark.

The Anooki are part of the Singapore Night Festival, which is in its eighth year. The festival organisers said 2014's festival attracted half a million visitors over four nights.

This year's festival will include some 100 attractions, from street performers to theatre plays, music acts and film screenings.

Oh, and fire twirlers, too. You can never have too many fire twirlers.
