A sinkhole swallowed more than 200 meters of beachfront in Queensland, Australia on Monday.
Sinkholes are collapsed or bowl-shaped features that form when there is a void underground, creating a depression in the land where everything around the area drains. While there isn't much explanation about what causes these mysterious phenomena, we can appreciate they leave behind.
