The latest developer beta for iOS 8.3 includes support for more languages with Siri, including Russian, Danish, Portuguese, Dutch, Turkish, Thai, Swedish and English for India.

Apple's mobile OS is still in beta, so regular users won't yet be able to access the new language settings just yet. But it's a good indication of what's to come.

iOS 8.3 is scheduled for release later this spring and a public beta is rumored for launch in March, as 9to5Mac notes. (The latest testing software for Apple products also gave us a glimpse at more racially diverse emoji.) The language settings in Siri can be changed by accessing the Siri settings panel on iPhone and iPad.

Siri was first launched in 2011. And her repertoire of supported languages is already impressive.

The voice-control digital assistant can understand Mandarin, Cantonese, French, German, Spanish, Korean, Italian Japanese, as well as American, UK and Australian English, and more.
