The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants saga will continue in a third movie based on Ann Brashares' Sisterhood Everlasting novel, Alloy Entertainment announced Wednesday.

Alloy hasn't set a release date or revealed whether Blake Lively, Alexis Bledel, America Ferrara and Amber Tamblyn will reprise their roles, but the story will pick up 10 years after the events in the first movie, which came 2005 and was a modest hit, making more than $40 million worldwide.

That film and its 2008 sequel told a coming-of-age tale of four friends trying to discover themselves while living in different cities. To keep their friendship intact, they share a pair of thrift-shop jeans, with each person wearing it for week before shipping it to the next.

The third movie, which Ken Kwapis will direct, will see the four friends reuniting on a trip.

"The original film brought together an incredible group of talent who we hope to unite for fans once again," Leslie Morgenstein, president of Warner Bros. Television Group's Alloy division, said in a statement.
