With the name Sizlah, this dog was born for greatness. In particular, rescuing its owners from a house fire.

The two-year-old Hungarian Vizsla saved her owner, Victoria Patenan and her partner Isaac, from a near-tragedy after the backyard of her unit in Melbourne, Australia, was engulfed in flames.

With an natural instinct that something was wrong, Sizlah repeatedly barked, scratched and bashed on her owner's bedroom door at 4 a.m. Patenan dismissed her dog's cries for help, thinking it was just a possum bothering him.

After the noise continued for an hour, Patenan opened the door to discover the property on fire, with flames licking the bedroom window. It is believed it was started by a cigarette.
