When temperatures rose to 54 degrees today at the Laura Biathlon & Ski Complex where the cross-country event was behind held for the Sochi Winter Olympics, Norwegian skier Chris Jespersen decided that a normal ski suit was too warm for his cold blood.

Jespersen sported a suit with cut-off sleeves and shorts -- and if you look closely, it seems he altered his outfit with a pair of scissors.

Despite his modified wardrobe, and ranking second in the World Cup, Jespersen placed sixth in the 15km classic cross-country skiing event.
