Skype 2.7 beta is now available for Macs, with several new features included in this release.

Some of these new feature include group contacts, which lets you add individual contacts into a group. Skype has provided some pre-defined groups you can choose from, like "Online" and "Recently Contacted" and you can add new groups as well. I your Czech or Norwegian, this latest Skype Mac version will automatically detect your language settings.

All of your Apple address book contacts can be contacted using Skype now, which lets you call or text message any contact with a phone number included in their address book profile. There are more options to initiate and manage your public chats, as well as a new sound level control, and an automatic redial option for when you get a busy signal.
