More Skype malware means more bad news for Skype, at a time when eBay is seeing red as a result to recent Skype issues.

A new Trojan that is affecting Windows users imitates your Skype login in an attempt to steal personal and identifiable information. It's called Skype Defender (file name 65404-SkypeDefenderSetup.exe), and lures you in with the message for Sype plugin updates. Once you click this button, you'll then be asked to login.

This screen looks like your typical Skype login, but the "sign in" button is a bit different. If you do try to enter in your login info, you'll get an error message saying that your name and password were "unrecognised." Type it in again, and your Skype info will be stolen, along with all your usernames and passwords that are stored in Internet Explorer.
