In September, Slacker began offering personalized ESPN Radio content, but Monday's live steam will be the music-subscription service's first time broadcasting live content from ESPN Audio, which is the U.S.'s largest sports radio network.
“Since offering customizable ESPN Audio content, the response has been overwhelmingly positive, but many listeners have requested live sports,” said Jonathan Sasse, senior vice president of marketing at Slacker, in an announcement.
ESPN Audio's live broadcasts include NBA, MLB and college football events as well as the USGA's U.S. Open and the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
